About Jeong

I am enrolled in TESOL/RTW program at CSU-Stanislaus.

I have a Masters in Instructional Technology from CSUS, hold a Multiple Subject Credential with CLAD, Supplementary Authorization in English and Computer Concept and Application.

For my career, I am working as a teacher at Stockton Unified School District in Stockton. I want to teach adult ESL students as soon as I get my MA degree.

I am interested in educational theories, evolutionary psychology, and teaching methodologies.

I want to pursue in studying deeper with my interests in technology, ESL, teaching writing, rhetoric, and evolutionary psychology in a doctoral program; I could not determine which program will be a best fit for me. I am inquisitive about pretty much everything around me. People fascinate me; animals fascinate me; and nature fascinate me too.

Culturally, I am Korean and am interested in exploring my cultural identity as a global citizen, especially in a digital sense.

I am looking forward to sharing information with a digital community.

  1. Hello!

I just want to drop by with a friendly hello, and tell you that you did an AMAZING job with the translation in Ken Robinson’s Learning revolution talk. My father, a poet, says your translation of W.B. Yeats’ poem was beautiful.

By the way, I work for an ESL school in Long Beach, and to know you have similar interest for teaching ESL gives me great delight.

    • Oh thank you. I am finishing my Masters and I believe that I will be able to graduate in a year. I am thinking about relocating to LA area, so yes. If any position is still open in spring, 2012, please let me know. I will also email you about this.
